Size chart not showing (or showing the wrong chart)

Size charts usually depend on template placement, metafields, or assigned pages.

Size charts fail when the theme can't find the content it's meant to show.

Common setups

  • A dedicated Size guide page linked on product pages
  • A modal/drawer triggered near the size selector
  • A metafield-driven size chart per product/category

Checklist

  • The size chart block is added to the correct product template.
  • The size chart content is assigned correctly (page/metafield).
  • If metafields are used, the metafield is populated for that product.

Why the "wrong" chart appears

  • Multiple products share a template but need different charts
  • A global size guide is linked where a per-category chart is needed

Best practice

Start with a single, store-wide size guide. Move to metafield-driven charts only when the catalogue truly requires it.
