What image sizes should I upload for best quality and speed?
Practical size guidance so images look sharp without bloating pages.
Use images that are large enough to look sharp on high-density screens, but not so large they slow the site.
Practical starting points
- Product images: 2000–3000px on the longest side
- Collection tiles/cards: 1600–2400px longest side
- Hero images: 2400–3200px wide
- Logos/icons: upload crisp originals (SVG if supported; otherwise high-res PNG)
Performance tips that actually help
- Keep ratios consistent in grids (reduces layout shift).
- Avoid uploading "massive" images for small UI elements.
- Prefer modern compression and don't stack multiple compression tools.
If your images still look soft
- Your originals may be too small.
- Your section may be using a strict crop/ratio.
- The image may contain text that isn't meant to be scaled.
